Prices, shipping and returns

Art prices that are quoted on this site are the same as listed at my studio and include archival rag mat and ph neutral backing board. They do not include frame, glass or shipping. If you are dissatisfied with the art for any reason, please contact me. If you wish to return the work (within 30 days of receipt), contact me, then return ship, insured. I will return your funds less shipping cost.

I will ship your art upon receipt of cashier’s check or money order. Personal checks will be accepted, but I will wait until the funds clear before shipping your artwork. I will e-mail you the tracking codes so that you may follow the progress of your package. It takes about a week for the package to reach the east coast by UPS ground from Colorado.

Giclee Prints (pronounced “zhee-clay”)

This is a digital method of fine art printing that was originally developed in 1989. The word Giclee is French for “spray of ink”. The image that is to be printed is scanned and digitally stored in a computer, then sent to a high resolution inkjet printer.
Giclee is recognized as a category of fine art prints such as lithographs or serigraphs. Giclee is considered to be the premier method of reproducing original art. Color is much richer and truer to the original than in other types of reproduction – it features a continuous tone color instead of a screen pattern of dots. Unlike other printing methods, each image is sent to the printer individually. Because of this, Giclees are often offered in smaller editions that lithographs.
Although the inks and papers used are archival and offer a high degree of permanence, Giclees should be treated as fine art and be protected from moisture and harsh sunlight.
